Je dois dire désolé à l'avance pour la langue française terrible dans ce poteau, mais le blâme Google. Il y a une grande réunion plus de 2 jours 29/30 mai 2005 en Angleterre... C'est le deuxième "RotorStock" et il a projeté devenir l'allumette événement des USA l'"SevenStock"... C'est seulement le deuxième événement, mais était l'année dernière un grand succès... Can you give us an idea of the budget for this meeting? (to sleed, to eat, etc.)

I debated if I should post a google translation, and since it managed to take it's own output and get somthing vaguely understandable back, I though it was worth a try...

I know that a lot of French people speak good English, and most English people speak no French... (Although I did German at school, many years ago)... But I thought it would be rather rude to simply post in English.. Thanks for the understanding.

Ahhh, I thought "RX8" was gonna post about it, but I couldn't find the message in the "Events" section... so I decided to add it...

As for a budget...

How many km between chanel and meeting point in UK ?

I dont think any meeting points have been decided, so I cannot give you exact figures, however I imagine there will be one within 80km's of the tunnel... if not then the main MRC meeting point, and others are within 160kms.

People won't want to miss the convoy, because different groups usually all meet up on route, so timing is a little critical... hence my comment that you would need to leave VERY early, or stay in a hotel closer... but to give you an idea, last year I joined a convoy at the location below:-

This point would take about 2 hours to reach from the English side of the tunnel, once you are traveling... but the departure time was 8am (GMT), so you would have to arrive in England in time to set off before 6am (GMT) if you were to join the main convoys...

All these times are estimates, and there will probably be a meeting point closer to the tunnel, but this gives an idea of the schedule.

Je ne pense pas tous les points de réunion ont été décidés, ainsi je ne puis pas vous donner les figures exactes, toutefois j'imagine qu'il y aura d'un dans 80km's du tunnel... si puis le point principal de réunion de MRC, et d'autres sont dans 160kms.

Les gens ne voudront pas manquer le convoi, parce que les différents groupes habituellement tout le rassemblement vers le haut sur l'itinéraire, ainsi la synchronisation est peu un critique... par conséquent mon commentaire que vous devriez laisser TRÈS tôt, ou restent dans un hôtel plus étroit... mais pour vous donner une idée, j'ai joint l'année dernière un convoi à l'endroit ci-dessous: -

ce point prendrait environ 2 heures à l'extension du côté anglais du tunnel, une fois que vous voyagez... mais le temps de départ était åm (GMT), ainsi vous devriez arriver en Angleterre à temps de placer au loin avant ãm (GMT) si vous deviez joindre les convois principaux...

Tous ces temps sont des évaluations, et il y aura probablement un point de réunion plus près du tunnel, mais ceci donne une idée du programme.

The venue is about 300Km from the tunnel in total... however it would not be unreasonable to expect to do _150Km/hr most of the way... (Unlike the Eurostar.. LOL)..

There are no convoy plans as yet, but these will develop, and I will find where the nearest one to the tunnel starts...

It's an early start for the convoys on the English side, so you will have to be VERY early through the tunnel... The event is 2 days, and many will be camping on site, or there are also hotels locally, so you could stay for both days if you wanted to...

You could even arrive a day early, and stay overnight in England if the thought of such an early start is a problem...

I am going to post on the MRC site now to see if anyone has organised a convoy yet.

Je suis partant pour l'année prochaine, là je tente pas un si long trajet tant que j'ai pas un embrayage neuf et fait quelques modifs sur ma voiture pour etre tranquille (et ça me laisse le temps d'avoir une voiture présentable pour ce genre de meeting )
