Pettit Supercharger kit for the UK / EU

ça vas vous paraitre un peut con mais j'hésite de plus en plus (enfin quand je dis j'hésite c'est surotut dans le sens je sens de plus en plus que je vais craquer pour l'une ) entre une RX8 turbo et un MX5 compressée aussi (même si je m'étais juré de repartir sur une 4 places... ce qui donne plus de chances au RX ).

Enfaite il y a pas de muffler c direct side pipe c le collecteur qui va direct sur le coté droit en dessou de la porte arriere dans le side skirt.

Je le c car j'étais a 2 pouce de l'auto et je peut vous dire quand vrai ca pete fraiment fort meme ca fait un peut mal au oreille mais c pas grave c bon et l'odeur du gaz du C16 wow ca sen bon.

Nous a Pettit UK avons 5 unit du Stage II supercharger a vendre.

Nous changeons à un nouveau fournisseur pour quelques parties s'il y aura un petit retard après ces dure 5 unités

hi, glad you found your way here since my last post on Rx8UK.

hoping that a french guy will give it a try, can you still confirm me that the stage 2 runs with standard PCM ?

POLOFOOT : 6500€ environ au cours d'aujourd'hui :

The 1st three kits will be for 230 models, and will have to be fitted by Trimar to make sure the first commercial installs are done correctly.

The cost will be £3999 + VAT for the kit.
The kit is supplied as bare metal (i.e. silver finish).
It can be painted black for £150, or ceramic coated for a durable black finish with heat protection for £300

Install cost is £950 and should take 2-3 days.

Trimar can also provide a finance option for the kit based on your car if you own it outright (i.e. not leased or under finance currently).
Contact Trimar for details on finance options.

Total cost for a base (i.e. silver) kit is therefore £5815 inc vat and fitting.

Initially there will be three kits available on a first come first served basis.
A deposit of £1000 (non refundable) will be required to secure your order.

To place an order contact Trimar directly on +44 (0)208 440 6666.

6500€ sans montage avec des options de peinture entre 150 et 300£ la vache plus le montage à 950£ c'est pas donné....Vais réfléchir quand même!

J'ai une option bien plus raisonnable et réaliste à ce tarif, tout en gardant la 8 ...

Pas vraiment.
J'ai pas envie de pourrir le topic Pettit Racing, mais on l'a dit et répété : montez ce kit et votre 8 est condamnée à la piste car non homologuée route. (a moins que vous soyez vraiment inconscient et irresponsable, mais je ne peut pas croire ça d'un proprio de 8, une Sub' oui, mais pas une 8 )

Alors qui à la condamner à la piste :

Je prend les 8000€ pour un petite citadine, en ce moment pas dur de négocier et en plus vous y gagnez en consommation

Et la 8, je la désosse complètement de son matériel superflu pour l'alléger au max (genre, il ne reste que 2 sièges baquets ultra léger et le volant à l'intérieur) + optimisation des liaisons au sol + freins et voilà une belle pistarde réservée à ça !

A quoi ça sert de mettre 80 ou 100cv de plus pour tourner sur circuit quand vous avez 300kg en trop ?

Un kit "supercharger" pour une utilisation route n'est pas un rêve, c'est un fantasme ... vous saisissez la subtilité ?

Yes Tsar, I can confirm the Stage II runs via a Pettit reflash on the OEM ECU

Price wise, it depends on 2 things:

WHEN you order!! Currency rates change from day to day at the moment.
If you come to the UK for fitting.

To ship it now we are estimating around €4900 + shipping and tax.
To fit in the UK it will still be the same as mentioned on the RX8OC, which is £5815 all included for a base fit inc tax (currently €6,654)

Please feel free to ask questions. By the way these 5 units are for the whole of Europe!

PS To answer Greg, I have the supercharger on my car for the road and its awesome!

The 8 lacks power in normal day to day driving, as it depends on you being in the right gear at 6000+ revs to actually pull. The supercharger answers this problem and you have power very fast now from much lower down.

My 8 is now perfect. The only performance mods I have on it are light flywheel, short shifter and the supercharger.
