Surement le photographe qui était présent dans les derniers garages. Il shoot toute la journée a certains endroits du circuit et vend ses clichés sur CD/DVD en fin de journée.

C'est come Jamone le dit : il y avai un photographe, tu vas choisir tes photos et tu paies entre 20/25/50e selon le nombre de photops, il te les grave sur un DVD.
J'ai payé 25€ pour le DVD.

@ Greg: many thanks for the organisation.

@ Philippe: Nice to speak to again. Nice pics and vid.

@ Davide: Thanks for your taxidrives with the RX8. What a very impressive, heavy modified Rex !! I did read your modification thread.

@ Bruno and Fabrice: Nice te speak to again. Please give some info about your rotary rebuilding work on the dutch/belgium forum. Think they can use it...

@ Gilles: thanks for your drives with the Radical. Indeed an incredible "car".

@ Chris: Thanks for your drives with the 1M

It was my first drive here with the Z06.
I did fit used Toyo's R888 on the rims, and now had the grip that I wanted.
The Protyre tyre service did bring new toyo's for a super price. 335/30-18(2x) and 295/30-18 (2X) for 1000 pounds.
Thats almost 400 euro cheaper as the cheapest price in Holland/Germany I could find!

After driving some friends around we started with the taxidrives for the 30 clients from my neighbor.
We did 50 drives.

As you can see I did choose not try the same as Icks and Bellof in Eau Rouge...
On the straight up hill I could get closer again, but on the bends no match.

From 4.30 min I passed him.
Again Uphill.
Max speed 250 km/h!!
More than 70 km/h faster compared with my Rex.

The max speed in 4th gear is 250 km/h. At 7000 rpm
Shifting to 5th was not easy and I did damage the box (?): It would not get in reverse any more as I tried to get petrol from an empty petrolstation...

So after about 50 laps my day ended a bit early.

I did speak to a specialist garage the day after and he explaned this is a typical Z06 problem.

Du jamais vu: une RX8 qui double une Porsche en ligne droite à Spa...
...

Il était en panne d'essence je pense .

Par contre la BMW crashée (pas dans les photos ici) est sortie juste 10m avant moi.
Il s'est trompé en sortant de Bruxelles, il a accéléré trop et trop tôt par rapport à sa trajectoire, la voiture a surviré et il s'est retrouvé (perpendiculaire au tracé) à pointer droit dans la barrière de droite, j'ai entendu un bon choc...
