Fuck me, is the suspension hard for a factory car . Engine is sweet as (needs enhancing orally outside, where they sound like a hoover, but inside sounds better) and the extra puff from the Superchips remap means that it pulls hard all the way to the limiter in every gear.
However, it DOES torque-steer like a biatch and the extra power brings on the TC in the lower gears as it tries to break traction (didn't feel comfortable disabling this with the owner sitting beside me), and it tugs left and right, but never wrenches out of your hand.
Didn't like the blacked out rear windows, which compromised rear visibility in the dark even with the street lighting etc, and the green felt a bit "look at me" (which I though I would like ).
It's nice, but it defo needs 4x4 despite all the bollocks to the contrary and it needs a diet, as it feels it's weight (acceleration is definitely blunted and it feels no quicker than a 345bhp Escort (despite the transmission losses this has)).
I think I would have to have a go round a track before I decide if I like it or not, so the jury is out, but it's certainly no Cossie."
