Vous pouvez voir le passage de cable qui part sous le volant de chaque coté, pour les deux "panel buttons"

Ici on voit bien le fameux fil rouge de la masse qu'il faut récupéré pour insérer dans le nouveau connecteur.

Note that you CAN take the plug apart without destroying it!!..

Yes, that part includes both sets of switches... but thank "RX8" as he did it first, and figured out the trick to rotate the rear cover so you don't have to remove the wheel...

I don't know if local dealer can order that part, because I tracked it down through Mazda dealer in Australia, they shipped it from there.

Is that a callsign I see on you avatar?... de G7KWO.

What I need now is a good description, link or photos of how to complete the remaining part of the modification to enable the feature in the PCM... does anyone on here have these details, or links to a good explanation?

Ok, we have ours directly from japanparts.com! And I don't think that local dealers are able to provide this cause they even don't know what a rotary is!

ci joint qques photos de mon montage.

On the middle white connector you could find from right to left

green wire (original)
white wire : new signal wire it continue after in green
black wire : new ground , it continue in yelow
red wire (original one)
green and red (original one)
no cable
black and red (original one)
green (original one)

Sory for pictures . Thew was done on my garage and it's very difficult to do it with a very little light. It's not a focus problem , the Auto Focus is very bad if the light is too low.

It's good enough... and that's what counts... now I have these bloody security bolts to deal with...

Does the ECU need to be lifted, or slid forwards... of it it just a case of lifting the cover and pushing the plug out??
