I have asked Greg for a garage - anyone wants to share???
Outjer, I will be happy to take some passengers this year. Also running with semi-slicks now and I have stiffened the car so the 370ps should come down with more ease
Gaétan and me take a garage, i'm sure you can find someone else.
Will be pleased to see you on the track with such a nice car

Hi Max,
Perfect!
Don't forget to take extra brake pads with you...
Normaly the standard brakes can't keep up with all that grip that slicks offer.
Because my neighbor probebly comes with more clients we cut the taxidrives to 15 minutes for 50 euro. (but we can differ)
Its also better for most cars, I think.
I take my Michelin slicks also with me (but maybe till then I have mounted the Toyo semi slicks R888, that I bought).

Hi Outjer
Sounds good!! This year I will defnintely not come without extra brake pads as I had to return to Luxembourg without braking last year
I have Black Diamond brake discs and racing brake pads on car now so it should brake significantly better (when warm).
Any recommendation on which tyres to use in rainy conditions? I should come prepared as my semi-slicks would not do me much good in the wet...
I guess you have the garage things sorted out?

i will probably also bring my Michelin N22 slick tires, my Hawk HP+pads and CRN disks will be 3 month old, but thanks for your advises i will bring my old oem pads where there is still 70% efficiency just in case

Hi Tsar, Max,
In the wet I use standard road tyre's (Vredestein Ultrac) and I drive smoothly.
But I have only 192 hp and that is much more simpel than 375 hp.
And never touch the curvestone's ,and certainly never steer to heavely back to the track when it happens.
So there are a lot off cars with slicks this year!
Nice.
From my experience slicks in the dry means more safety, because when braking a bit late , I have more safety margin.
Can't wait to see you all!

I will check about the Vredestein Ultrac as I also have Vredestein on my winter car (Wintrac Extreme 225/50/17) and they worked quite well on the Nurburgring a couple of weeks ago. Need some spare rims though...
I think it was on our 2006 track day on Spa that it rained very heavily - and I spinned several times on my Toyo tyres

Are you guys gonna bring an extra car with all the extra equipment, rims, etc??? There is no way I can bring lift, extra set of rims in my FD. Will probably bring a friend for some support
Cannot wait either

, and so i can bring a lift, my bag and even my girlfriend if i want

On the german and on the dutch RX 8 forum several original RX 8 rims are offered for very small prices.
(A lot off people spent money on bigger rims)
And they fit on the RX 7.
Don't forget to take a good pressure gauge.
I use 2.0 bar cold and 2.3 bar warm on the slicks.
If you run on lower pressure you wreck the tyre's, becuase the RX 8 is quit heavy.

Thanks for the advice Outjer. Makes sense to get some second hand rims. Are original RX-8s 17"??

I think 18" is too big for the RX-7. Standard is 16" and the RX-7 type RS (race version) is also only running 17" (which I have) with wider wheels/tyres on the rear than front. Thanks anyway

Chers RX8iens,

bonsoir a tous chère rxiens.
