OK , Ok,
I went the day after Zandvoort with my Yamaha to Monza-Milaan for 4 days..(Driving like hell accross the Alpes is even better then watching the F1)
Zandvoort:
Very nice track.
Very chalaging.
Uphill , downhill and very nice curve-combinations.
Took me the first 2 sessions (30 minutes each) to figure out the right lines, braking and shifting pionts.
Drove without DSC. (press one time short)
Had at the rear Marangoni-slicks and front Vredestein Ultracs road tyres, because I can't find yet a replacement for the broken tyre at Spa 29-5-07 (Driver error in combination with a sharp curve stone in the renewed track at the Stavelot curve)
In the last session I nearly lost the car with cold tyres in second gear (80-85 kmh) uphill. (slicks behave very different when the are cold...)
Thought I had still protection in case I did something wrong.
After this experience I could't really tell what the difference is with complete DSC-shutoff!
Happely I didn't do anything wrong in the really fast sweepers....(4 gear , 160-170 kmh)
Problem with the DSC is that it takes to much fun and brakepads.
