mazda rx7 fitted with a 5.7 chevy small block motor,all work has been profesionally done on this vechile by kev taylor,who specialize in sbc conversions and build drag cars...this project took over 7 months to complete...and has been finished 4 months to which a total of 950 miles have been driven...selling for personal reasons...and will be sorry to see go,as a lot of money has been spent on the car,and i mean a lot...

a summary of the car and what has been modified on the vechile...

1993 rx7,c-west side skirts and rear bumper,re-animiya front bumper,car is in great condition...fitted with a newly refurbished chevrolet small block 5.7 litre,all new bearings,rings,hypertecnic pistons,327 hi-po heads for higher compresion,(could also supply a virtually new set of dart pro 1 heads with a race port and polish for 950.00 on top of the final price...) comp cams 268 camshaft,edelbrook intake manifold,reconditioned holley 750cfm with vacumn secondaries carb,moroso competition ht leads,14"moroso blue anodised air filter,shorty tubular performance headers,mickey thompson alimnuim rocker covers...the transmision is a th350 3 speed auto,which also has been competely refubished and rebuilt,BUT with a manual valve body,which is superb for really really fast gear changes...brand new propshaft,mounted to a custom fabricated rear cradle,housing a bmw v12 rear diff,with 3.0.1 gears again reconditioned,brand new custom uprated driveshafts...dics all round with 18"enkei gt wheels,9j fronts with 225 40 18" and 9.5j rears with 275 35 18" tyres,tein coil over suspension,trust exhaust system,brand new custom radiator and twin fans sits at 60 degress all day everyday,hi torque starter motor,aliminuim lightweight race pulleys,power steering,autometer monster 5" tacho,and autometer,water temp,oil temp,oil pressure guages,b+m pro ratchet shifter...rear roll cage with diagonal,battery in the boot...huge rotura gt rear wing...etc etc there is probably a few things i have missed...

bon malgré qu'ils ont perdu les rotors en route, elle fait un jolie bruit... bon ok poussez pas tous en même temps

ya un truc qui fait quand même plaisir, c'est qu'en changeant le moteur, ils ont complétement du revoir le capot (pas la place)... et cette rx7 n'a pas la beauté naturelle qu'elle avait à ses débuts...

comme quoi, coupés mazda et moteur rotatif, c'est fait pour aller ensemble

C'est une horreur.

En plus vu le poids du moteur, le comportement doit être fort impacté.

Vous avez vu: boîte auto 3 vitesses

Le gars il devrait arrêter de péter du pognon comme ça et directement aller acheter une bonne vieille américaine style Pontiac Firebird ou autre voiture de lourd dans le genre...

une RX sans rotatif peut encore appeller cela une RX?

personelement je pense que non, a voir vos reactions cela ne fait plus aucun doute.

et pis je voit pas l'interet, le rotatif c'est ce qui fait le charme de toutes les mazda RX.

decu certainement outré totalement.

pourquoi n'avoir pas fait une twingo avec un rotatif 13B ca aurait eu le merite de faire un vrai missile incontrolable d'ailleur
