Track is (almost) as nice as Spa!!

Is it really strict on noise because 90dB is simply impossible to respect for any NORMAL car with plates at street... (95dB)

Hi Ruggisante,

The noise is measured as you drive past the start/finish.
If you get off the trottle there it is no problem.

In any case it is different from a static measurment with only 1 meter from the exhaust.

Not sure that I will be driving though ?
I guess the track is hard on the tyres ! ?

We (Andreas and me) just have booked the NH Hotel in Zandvoort.
You have my number.
Hope to see you there.
Most of the corners are nice flowing, so not hard on the tyres.
I just have mounted my (almost) new Toyo's R888.
The Michlin slicks were terminated in Spa.

Last minut (but at least booked 1 week in front)
60 euro per person incl breakfast based on 2 persons per room.

Hi Baphi

Pitty we missed.

Had a very nice trackday.

Andreas had fun with several Porches and I enjoyed the competition with the little,old Lotus on the pics.

It was an Lotus Super Seven S4 van 1972 with a cortina 1600 cc twincam (630 kg, 120 hp , 4 speed)
For many, many laps very close to each other.
I was a bit faster on the straight (he did not want to rev the old engine too much)
So I had to try to gain enough ground there and than he closed again in the bends.
He had as much fun as me , he told me afterwards.
The next run we waited for each other...

A the Hunzerug he overdid it.
In front of me and just out of sight he spun.
I came arround the corner and just could steer arround him..
One lap later he was again behind me.

We both had Toyo's R888.

Good tyres and forgiving.
After 140 track km's not to much wear.
No DSC because the track was a bit glissy.

After seeing the track on Saturday ... yes I should have been there Friday zut

Looks like a very nice, not too short track ... and the sand, the wind ... make it even more fun and unpredictable !!!!
